1. In your opinion as a CEO, what is the no. 1 way to instantly seem more promotable?
To answer the first question, the CEO's no. 1 way to make his/her more product/business promotable is tou use up technology. Gone are the days, that you will use printed posters and the like to promote something. You need to be more creative and timely. Social media is the best way to promote since most of the people nowadays have it especially facebook wherein almost 2 billion people uses it and still counting. The influence is so wide that even you don't promote it that much but your costumer just posted about it and they like it you'll definitely gain new costumers and that's how it works. Moreover there are fb, ig and google ads also that will help you not just gain costumers but boost your page to gain more interactions and visits.
2. In your opinion, as a hiring expert, what are 1-3 ways of selling yourself that you believe most people underestimate of?
Being yourself- Most of the time the interviewee was so nervous and we're not able to do their best just because they want to impress the HR about them cause they say first impression last so make the most out of it. No, I must say it is quite inappropriate. Never lose yourself while trying to impress others. Make yourself comfortable. An interview last only for an hour and two but by the time you'll be employed who will just stay for the company for too long, why not be true to yourself. Show yourself in a sense that you still know your limits and respect. Share your minds and thoughts, that will help you make a good relationship work.
Speaking in a language you are comfortable at- This is the wrong perception that in every interview you must speak in English, I guess that shouldn't be normalized (not unless you are applying for call center or any job that the requirements is to really speak english). Thoughts and ideas can easily come out when you are most comfortable at it. I can accept whenever you are speaking native language as long as you are executing good and appropriate answer.
Don't be afraid on interviewer, they won't bite you- The
reality they help you. they assess you
if you are capable in doing the job. They make you reflect on yourself, your
own skills and capabilities. Yeah, its their job to give interview but as you
look deeper whether it is a fail or pass you learn something, that you can
apply to your future interviews. You are talking/ sharing your whole self into
someone who didn't know you that much but still seeing the best of you as much
as they could.
